Cook Islands
Sailing Directions:
The Lower Cook Islands consist of Mangaia, Rarotonga, Mauke, Mitiaro,
Atiu, Takutea, Manuae, Te-Au-o-Tu and Aitutaki. They are administered
out of Rarotonga for the NewZealand Government. The climate of the Lower
Cook Islands is generally warm and humid. The trades usualy blow
from ESE. Hurricanes may be experienced from November to April, and usually
come from the direction of Samoa.
