Sailing Directions:
The Tonga islands consist of over 100 widely scattered islands and islets, which are divided into three main groups, namely Tongatapu, Ha'apai, and Vava'u. Volcanic activity occurs occasionally in areas N and S of the Tonga islands, as indicated on the charts.
