Sailing Directions:
'Iles Tuamotu' consisting of 78 islands, almost all of them atolls, extends for about 950 miles in a general SE direction from a position about 180 miles N of Ile Tahiti. Caution Fangataufa and Mururoa atolls are Nuclear Testing Sites utilized and controlled by France. The French authorities advise that a Permanent Danger Area extends up to 30 miles beyond the regulated areas around these atolls.
