September 3 1999 10 hour: Finish tack supports and goosneck . Finish welding track to mast. Fab and weld on 9 safety line hard points. Fit and finish outboard lateral shrouds. Got temporary drive way put in.
September 4 1999 13 hour: Wife help to put up some of the intermediate life rails and to kill off a few more deck wobbles. Made and attached more lifeline hard points and I even remembered to make six for under the bridge deck ( flipsidewise). Made up a bunch of hatch dog bits and pieces.
September 5 1999 6.5 hour: Layout work in galley for counter tops and stairs. Weld up winch pads and trim one for mast. Hand hold under for putting on fastenrs. Fab and finish lower part of pedestal for helm and install including under cockpit supports.
September 6 1999 9 hour: Weldout one of the keel assemblies. Naca section modified to fit pipe front. Cutout aft deadlights in cabin side and complete weldout in area.
September 7 1999 1.5 hour: Weldout most of other keel.
September 8 1999 1 hour: Finish aft webbing 'hatch' in bow nets.
September 10 1999 2 hour: prep for raising mast.
September 11 1999 12 hour: More mast prep. Finish second keel. Fit and weldon stb keel. Lots of help from wife fitting it up. Problem with forestay, Yachttech swagged top end fitting onto defective 1x19 wire. Loos and company 1x19 but it has been heavily abraided down one edge damaging all 12 exterior wires to the point of fish hooks cutting my hand. We will see how Yachttech stand behind their work on monday. Been 3 months waiting for the forestay already.

September 12 1999 8 hour: Raise mast with crane. Weldon winch pad and mount jib halyard. Went up on ladder to clear away crane slings.
September 13 1999 4.5 hour: Wife winched me up mast and I adjusted extra 5" into upper shrouds and marked forestay for length. Added block and halyard and took photos and cleared away last of crane gear.

September 15 1999 4.5 hour: Weld on port keel and stb keel floors. Jack stb hull onto keel. No block on hull.
September 16 1999 2 hour: Weldout stb bottom by old blocking and put in port floors.
September 17 1999 3 hour: Weldon last of harness attachment points including the six under the bridgedeck. Welded on a fairled pad for jib sheet.
September 18 1999 7 hour: Weld two forward cabin frames to sides. Still need to make two more. Install primary winches. Main sheet to stb jib sheet to port. Installed zinc backing plates on each keel. Just one streamline zinc per hull. Start grinding stb hull seams prior to pinhole testing.
MIG gun tries to get out of work. The power feed cable disintegrated at the gun and need to be re fitted. ( this is the 2nd time. )
September 19 1999 13 hour: Wife helped with last of deck wobble framing and last three cabin frames. Drilled and grooved seagull striker for stay. Drilling is for safety wire to keep it from jumping off. Lofted window positions onto cabin. Never trust 2D CAD for final eyeball appeal.
September 20 1999 3.5 hour: Fitup last 2 main beam stringers. Measure and mark bow tube webbing supports. Weld on bunch of handles on hatches. Finish grinding stb hull except for 10'.
