9 hour: 3 1/2 hours cutting insulation in the barn with the wife. We looked like blue snowmen. Stripped cleaned and lubed and bolted on the mainhalyard winch ( its a Barient 22 ).

7 hour: Finished jib boom and hosit jib and measure for sail cover. The main and jib were built to the plans and the mast and rig was built concurently/after. The jib fits nicely and looks pretty good too ( Nice work Gary ).

Should be able to fit some more stuf in here?

1 hour: Move cut foam from barn to boat and figure interior paneling details.

4.5 hour: Insulation. Hoist main and measure for cover and for single line reefing locations. This sail fit nicely as well and was easier to hoist than I expected. There was a wee problem with 4 of the battens with the glue used to secure the ends not set. I caught this before stuffing the battens in and cleaned of the goop and used some 5 minute epoxy ( Gave it an hour in the cold weather ). Erkon who is building a Brent Swain 36 in aluminium in Nanaimo came buy for a vist and helped with the sail cover and reefing measurents.

2.5 hour: Insulation in the hulls above the knuckle.

2 hour: More insulation.

2 hour: More insulation

January, Happy new year. My old 486 rolled over to Jan 4 1980. Was fine after the date was reset.

4 hour: Insulation. Started on the decks of the stb hull.

7 hour: Finalize desigh and build and install most of outboard motor mount.

7.5 hour: Insulation. Must be close to 1/4 done by now. It will be a while before it gets warm in there.
